Wah lau ehx.. today i got owned by fever.. last day of 2005 somemore!! Sobx.. i had such a good record.. not sick at all for the entire year.. and then , on the very last day of the year, the fever virus gets a free frag!! M..m..m..m..onster kill + total Ownage!! Well, my mum told me to take panadol.. (which i did..) HEY, IT REALLY HELPS!! About half an hour after taking 2 panadol tablets, my room fan blow me at highest speed i still dun feel cold!! lolx!!
But hey, 2005 has been a memorable year.. Really missed those days before poly 1st sem started where i was still working part time.. Sigh.. And yeah, really missed those times i stayed at home to play Gunbound and runescape.. Well, i know that hardly anyone plays those games nowadays, and everyone is now playing Maple Story.. Arrgghh!! Whats so nice bout Maple Story!! Even the cash items can only last for a while.. Its so unlike Gunbound!!
And, the 2nd half of 2005 was like sch again.. -.-" But hey, i really enjoy poly life.. Mostly due to my poly cca.. =P Hmm.. Also really treasure ALL my poly classmates and friends.. I jsut want to say that i really appreciate u guys and i am so blessed to know each and everyone of you..
Alright, nxt week is the common test week.. But dun worry, i have been studying this time.. Although not much, but i have made much mental preparations.. I should be able to step into the exam hall without feeling too frightened.. [I hope..] D=
2005 is also a memorable year bcoz i have grown much as a Christian.. I dun follow my faith blindly anymore also.. Also, i now understand my identity as a Christian and also understand what God has commanded me to do..

Hmm.. i just wanna thank all the crusaders for their encouragingemails and smses and i really am very grateful to those crusaders whomade it to my grandfathers wake.. I'm sure some of you have alreadyknown my parents better..My grandfathers death didn't mean the end of everything in my life..I still need to pick up the pieces and carry on with my life.. Maybetheres a lesson to learn after this traumatising ordeal..Well, i realised from my mum that my grandfather had rejected thegospel before.. A few decades ago when he was in Malaysia having ajoint buisness with a few ppl.. His buisness partners tried sharingchrist with him.. but, he being a very traditional man, rejected whatthey said and decided to stick with Buddism.. It now raised an issuein my life.. where would he go.. and then many kept telling me thathe would go to hell..I don't know why...but I have the impression that God will showmercy. It seems kinda harsh whenever they say those who reject Christwill go to hell, but they often forget that we are not supposed tojudge, the final judgement is not passed and before that comes,anything can happen. Just remember that God is gracious andcompassionate, He is God, He is the beginning and ending.The Bible is only part of that is to come, it does not sayeverything...certain things are chosen by God to be made known butcertain things are not..So,we don't know what may come..Yeah...our God made known that those who chooses to reject God go tohell, but he didn't say he won't give them anymore chances did He?There is one story in the Bible, i can't remember what was it...butGod wanted to punish a nation, a person prayed to God for grace andhe managed to change God's mind. No, i'm not saying that we allowpeople to reject God. But all that has been said in the Bible willcome definitely but there are certainly things which God did notchoose to make known in the Bible....he may choose to give those whodidn't know His son or those who reject Him to repent....of coursethose who still ultimately reject God would prolly go down there.talking the path of Jesus is about denying yourself and taking up thecross, it is about repentance...it wasn't said in the Bible thatpeople who deny Christ in this life will go to hell for sure did it?Heh....but anyway, we don't know what will happen, just leave it toGod, He may have some twist and turns up his sleeve which is of graceand mercy...just pray about it, don't lose hope, don't give Satanthat power of doubt, don't lose hope for the salvation of a souluntill the judegement has been passed!!The fear that someone will go to hell is giving the authority ofjudgement to Satan, its like giving Satan the power, giving him theauthority over the souls of the unsaved people of this life...butremember, God will pass that judegement, He has overall authority.Fear belongs to Satan, its not of God.Do you believe in presdestination?(Hot topic with me even before my grandpas death..)Some ppl relate well to calvanism while others arminism..Yeah...there are verses in the Bible which surports either one...sothere are lots of conflicts within this area regardingpredestination...John Calvin believes that people are selected to goto heaven....whereas for arminism is for freewill..For me, what I believe is that, God definitely know who is with Himand who isn't....but I believe that it is on the free will of theindividual to choose the path he wants to take..God gave everyone of us a freedom of choice.. thats why alot ofhumans sin and choose to take a path that is seperates them fromhim.. my grandfather is one of them.. But god sent a means ofsalvation..and thats Jesus Christ..But still, many fail to receive the full gospel and some even chooseto foolishly reject it..Yeah...that's for sure..Arminism is about the free will of men to choose which path he wantsto take, to follow Christ or to reject Him....Hmm.. Whereas forCalvinism, it is that whether a person lands up in heaven or hell wasalready pre-determined..But if u think about it.. nothing is predetermined.. Everybody isgiven a chance to know about god.. And i mean EVERYBODY.. Ineverybody's lives, there is a seed planted in them to know abt thegospel.. For the non-Christians, it jsut takes Christians to helpthem water the seeds and grow them in faith..Losing hope is just not what God is.. Jesus gives us hope even at thedarkest moments...God will be the ending.. He'll close thechapter..The Bible is what God wants us to know but there are thingswhich are to be made known to us...so who knows, in hope, we do prayfor a second chance, a chance for their souls to repent..But please.. that doesn't give you guys an excuse not to reach out toyour loved ones.. Don't let your "filters" blind you on who to reachout to and affect your duty to reach to the lost..If you are feeling a sense of hopelessness in reaching to your lovedones, just pray about it..like me.. I don't think i wanna give theauthority of my grandpa's soul to Satan. I would rather give it toChrist in hope of grace and mercy...I hope my posting encourages all of you to reach out to your lovedones.. Don't ever think that your loved ones are save until the lastmoment where you regret it.. Be it a fatal car accident or a naturaldisaster.. We will never know when our loved ones may be faced withlife-threatening situations..I didn't expect my grandfather to part earlier.. I thought that mygrandmother was in a more life-threathening state when she wasdiagnosed with a cancer tumour.. But who knew.. my grandfathersuffered in the end because he worried too much for my grandma.. andhe found himself in the hospital.. And later, death..So, do take the task of reaching out to your loved ones VERY VERYseriously.. I'm sure that if your heart is in the right place, Godwill surely be smiling up there in heaven..
Yesterday was the anniversary of the tusnami that devestated much of asia.. Anyways, i can really say that i am truly blessed to escape the tsunami in one piiece.. Because, 2 weeks before the tsunami hit phuket, i was in the most heavily devastaed area there shopping.. Yeah.. its patong beach.. the most expensive beach in phuket.. Even the hotels there are so expensive that my family had to stay in the south part of the island.. And i even went to visit phi-phi island.. The one island in phuket that had all its tourist buildings almost entirely destroyed by the onslaught of the tsunami.. Well, its kind of sad.. Last year when i went throught the straits times.. i could see pictures of the various resturants and pubs that i visited in the patong beach area.. All damaged severely..

I woke up today with a sense of desperation.. a sense of despair.. my grandpa's death was o sudden.. and i am not ready to accept it at all..If only i could go back in time for just one day, i could rush to the hospital to tell him about the love of jesus.. But, i just can't help but realise.. that no tears shed and nothing i ever do will bring him back.. He's not coming back.. I just cannot take it..
Now. i will never know if he might have that one chance to accept Jesus Christ as his lord and savior.. I had failed to give my loved one the greatest gift of all.. Will he part into the very place i wanted to save him from?? I am so scared for him.. All his life he has suffered ever so much.. and i have failed as a grandson to be close to him.. And, i couldn't even make up to him by guaranteeing his salvation and being able to see him one day in heaven..
Grandpa.. I miss you!! Why must this happen!! Christmas will never be the same again for me!! Maybe if he had been saved i wouldn't have been filled with sadness.. Because if he was saved, i would be smiling to know that he had been called home to the lord.. But, i won't be seeing that happening..
Heavenly loving father, won't you give my grandfather a second chance? Let him get to know your love for him and all your glory and power, that he may receive salvation.. Lord i thank you for granting him a peaceful death.. and i just pray that you will deliver him from eternal suffering in the fires of hell.. Heavenly father i pray for my grandma.. I pjust pray that u will protect her as she receives the news today of my grandpa's death.. I pray that she will stay strong and not be filled with dispair.. Lord, give her the courage to stand up again.. Give her a sense of calmness as she takes the news lord.. Help to ease the pain of her hubands death lord.. God i pray that i will not fail this time to reach out to my grandmother.. I pray that you will protect her throguh these years so that i can reach out to her and share the gospel with her lord.. Lord i prayfor the softening of her heart that as she hears what i have to say, i pray that she will accept it readily.. Heavenly father, you have called me to be a shining light to my entire family, and i take that task of saving my entire family.. Heavenly father i just thank you for the miracles you have done in my life.. I thank you for changing my mum's heart that she allows me to bring people to share the gospel with my grandmother.. Lord i also want to pray for my family.. I know that some of them care for my grandparents not becaue of true love lord.. But because of money lord.. Lord i really want to pray that you make them see the errors of their ways lord.. lord i pray that they will start being more loving and caring to my grandmother lord because of love lord.. And lord, my grandparents have helped raise up my 4 uncles and my mum nto successful people in this wolrd lord and i really pray that all my relatives will respect them for that and not harm my grandmother any further.. And i really pray for thesoftening of their hearts too so that i may do my duty in spresing the great comission to them too.. I don't really know why this has to happen..Well, after my classmate and fellow crusader Junnie shared to all thecrusaders about her aunt having cancer, i remembered that mygrandmother was diagnosed with cancer last week.. But, it was soserious that no one ever broke the news to my grandmother.. Well, mymum told me that my granfather cried and cried when he heard thenews.. The doctors also said the chances of a succesful operation wereslim.. But, i wasn't close to my grandmother..And, i don't know whatto do.. I had not shared Christ to her before as she only spokeCantonese and a little bit of Chinese(My Chinese sucks btw..) and nowi am beggining to become desperate..I had thought of sending a few memebers of my Church CantoneseCongretion to talk to her amonth ago butnow, it seems so late.. She iscurrently in the hospital and only my uncles, aunties and my mum getto see her..Not only that.. I also realised somethnig i should have done a longtime ago.. I had 3 cousins in poly.. And not one of them i had everreached out to before.. That made me feel worse..Now, it looks like only prayer can solve the problems i am facingnow.. Crusaders, what should i do?

Just after my grandma went back home after resting in the hospital.something happend to my Grandfather.. And i just feel so helpless...My grandmother had successfully removed a cancer causing tumour butalmost all of her large intestines were removed during the opeation,rendering her helpless and in need of ppl to help her remove herfaeces in disposable bags daily.My grandfather was looking after my grandmother and shockingly, hestill cooks and cleans the entire house, even though he is 85 yearsold.. My mum even said tht my grandfather even hanged the clotingout the window and tht was really troubling, as he could easily falloff..Well, this just happened yesterday. My grandfather had 2 heartattacks and had to be warded into the hospital after his 2nd attack.His first attack occured when one of my uncles was looking aftertheir house. Well, he took ihis medication and was visibly better.But when my mum took over the shift to look after their house, atard 12.30 to 1 O clock, my grandfathe had another heart attack.This time, no medication could help ease his pain and well, he wasrushed to the hospital within 10 minutes.I am so scared tht i may never be able to reach out to mygrandparents in time. Guys please pray for them!!

Wah liao!! my Grandfather admitted to hospital coz hear attack due tolung bursting.. (Read the last posting..) Come out of sgh lung burstagain!! This time, they had to cut a hole thru his body to mend thelung.. But the problem is, those doctors at sghj treating mygrandfather are all young docs.. So, they dun do a good job.. And, theygive so little painkiller when they try to mend the lung again that hescreamed when they did the mending.. Oh no.. >.< its like i am really rushing for time to reach to them.. I just canoot take the pressure anymore.. *Breaks down and cries*

Date: 20-12-12Reply to Winnie in response to her encouragement thru email..Hi winnie.. Its kinda funny.. during the time that i went to visit mygrandfather today, u sent me this email.. And yeah, i really made mypresense known to him today.. Coz, i wasn't even close to him at alland if i didn't come, he wouldn't have minded coz i wasn't evenregular in his house visits over the years.. And yeah, i did pray forhim.. Said 2 prayers.. One for his recovery and for the staff of sghto be more caring towards him.. The other prayer was for thesoftening of his heart so that next time, if i ever share the gospelwith him, he would be ready to accept whatever i say.. But, helooked even worse than i expected.. He was quite weary and tired anddid not have the strength to eat his dinner.. Also, his face wasquite different from before.. I tink its coz he looked too shag..And, last time his voice was quite gruff.. But now, his voice soundedquite funny and also very soft.. I cried softly as i saw hiscondition.. But, its like i may not be able to make regular trips tothe hospital to see him.. Coz, my mum is too tired to continuevisiting him and has decided to ask my uncles to take over her shiftsfor her..Date: 21-12-12Hey all.. Hmm..as i was leaving their house with my mum tovisit my grandpa at sgh, ( we were walking down the stairs to thelift) I started talking to her abt life after death.. Well, she stillunderstood what i said bout God, heaven and Hell.. Then i quicklyasked her what would happen to my grandparents if they were...... well, she quickly caught on what i message i was trying to bringand she asked how i was going to talk to them abt christ as they werecantonese.. But i said that i had friends who could help and guesswhat!! She gave me the OK to send friends over to share the gospel tothem!! Woo Hoo!! Hey guys, i dun think there's really a need tofollow up on my grandparents anymore in the yahoo grps.. I think ican handle things.. =) But i just want to thank those crusaders whohave approached me to give me encouragement and even prayed for me..(You guys know who you are..) Many thanks!! =)

But hey, to those crusaders reading thisbefore 7.00 am on friday, i just want to let u guys know that out ofsome reason i dunno abt, my grandfather is now going to have a majoroperation for his lungs tml at 7 sth.. Well, when i saw him yesterday,he was having regular injections every 2 hours supposed to monitor theamt of a certain blood thingy normally discharged from his kidney..Appaarently, too much discharge of this thingy will be somewhat relatedto damaging his lungs.. Well.. not really sure why he needs a major operation.. But pls pray for him? Thanks all..

hmm..funny siah.. grandpa suppose to have operation today morning..but, got one emergency operation needed to be done my doctor at 7 sthto 9 sth and another from 9 sth to 11 sth.. then lunch time they saythe doc too tired to operate on my grandpa.. So well, my mum and unclejust wasted one day( work leave also) waiting for the operation to takeplace..Grandpa also very angry at hospital.. Operation scheduled fortml anyways.. Hope there's no more delays... =((Whole family mad at sgh coz of bad service.. Like eg last time mygrandma went sgh for a common eye cataract operation done for old ppl..Chances of mishap 0.001%, yet my grandma got her one eye blinded by it.Haixx.. SO now, guess my mum is gonna request all future operations tobe done in Nuh..)

I didn't expect this to happen.. I REALLY DIDN'T!!! But my mum and dadcame back home and said that my grandfather had passed away in theafter his operation.. WHY MUST THIS HAPPEN!!! WHY!! I have failed toreach out to him!!! I HAVE FAILED!!!! FAILED!!! WHY!!! WHY!!All along i had such high hopes of reaching out to him.. And now he isgone..I just cannot take it anymore.. I just can't!!! If only i hadnot been so stupid as to backslide and had reached out to himearlier!! IF ONLY I HAD DONE SO!!! I haven't even begun reaching out to him yet.. I have not even guaranteed his salvation!!
My posting: My grandfather wasn'r supposed to die so early.. But then again, he was living on borrowed time for 17 years, where he had so many major operations.. And, he knew he was gonig to die in the hospital, but he didn't tell us as he didn't want to worry us.. I did not know the seriousness of it until now.. I have failed.. My grandfather was admitted to the hospital becoz he was too worried sick of my grandma and got a heart attack.. He was nvr meant to die.. Tears have been shed today.. This may well be the saddest Christmas day in my entire life.. I'm not sure how my grandma will take the news of my grandpas death as we haven't told her of it yet.. But whatever happens i hope thast u all will pray that she won't be affected too much.. I really need to reach out to her!! Guys pray for her!!

yo guys.. back from a tiring week of "E-learning".. Well, Sp WAS conducting its e-learning exercise for all Sp students where no one was to go to sch and we all access materials online.. Yup.. is kinda suck.. No school.. Imagine that.. And the worst part is.. The online website "Blackboard" where we are to access all our materials is so lag!!.. I think its coz too many Sp students are usign it at one time.. And i got really mad when the ppl incharge of the e-learning week encouraged students to login at night, where it wasn't so lag.. Wah liao!! Who also dunno this!! Ppl need to sleep at night ok!! U tink everybody is a night worker ah? I think we Sp students are guinea pigs for Sp's advertiseing campaigns.. Also i heard taht nxt yr they are going to pull off another such event.. *Shakes head and sighs* Don't they ever learn.. Well, the e-learning week served Sp 2 Impt purposes..
1.It saved Sp 1 whole week of electrical and water bills by eating up 1 week of our school fees that our parents worked so hard to earn.
2.It is going to use e-learning in the future to cut back on the number of lecturers it will have.. (Once again, another cost factor..)
But, it has good points..
1.More time for Sp students to study for our common tests.. (Which i tink they will set harder questions coz of longer study break..)
2.Some well deserved rest for our school lecturers.. (Some of you guys will definitely know why i am so supportive of Sp lecturers..)
This week was rather hectic.. Quite busy with quizzes, projects and assignments.. Well, also had a Campus Crusade Christmas party on thursday night.. Dun really wish to talk bout it..
And well, i just came back from my church christmas event.. Hmm.. it was quite a different church event.. And well, i got to re-know all those church ppl that i didn't see for 2 years? Some didn't recognise me till i told them my name..They also said that my hair has changed my entire appearance.. One even associated it with smoking and drinking.. Ahaha.. Dun worry lah.. Even though i want to be trendy* i won't go to such extremes.. Also, i was quite surprised that my church has ppl who view my blog.. I dunno how they know of my blog add. up till know.. (Everyone who has viewed my blog says they got the add from secret sources..) Oookk.. Lets assume its some "secret sources".. Christians being secretive.. Hmm.. thats backstabbing u know?? Someone is going to have to admit who first stumbled on my blog add one day.. I just have this hunch that the guy knew my blog add while searching in yahoo or google.. And he just accidentally stumbled on it. Lucky for the church ppl.. Unlucky for me.. (Thats how i got to know alot of my church ppl's blog addresses.. Lol..)
Hmm.. i dun really know if having my blog add a good thing or bad thing, but i feel that i should keep u guys updated on my Campus Crusade For Christ in Sp. Maybe it will help remove some negative thoughts on it and also encourage ppl to join it.. Well, to those bb members or bb officers who are viewing my blog.. I jsut wanna say that joining the bb in sec sch was one of the reasons why i found myself in church.. So yeah, i have been hearing many negative views from bb members who quit bb during their sec sch lives and it really hurt.. But, i just wanna say thaanks to all those bb members and officers who have really shaped my life to what i am today.. Even though i may not be updated on the bb activites or anything.. (too busy for that ) =P i really hope hat u ppl will continue to impact the lives of new bb members... Rock on!!

The giving tree at North East..
Crap event.. Go dere not because i want to help out but bcoz i needed the cip hours for my cd module in Sp.. Was slacking on the first day.. But i did visit the volunteer booths and got to know more bout one organisation.. The vegetarian society.. They educated me alot.. Ok i know i should have blogged this down much earlier.. But this week i was VERY VERY busy.. So sorry guys.. I had like 2 mock tests and 2 assignments to submit and one Gems test to do.. Arrrgghh!!! as so tired in the end...
Ok, lets get to the point.. The Bold Truth Rally was great.. Josh Mc Dowell's message was quite simple and short.. But it spoke alot to all of us.. Well, he told his life story before he knew god.. Apparently as a young kid he was in a disfunctional family... His dad was the only drunk in a small town in America and well, all the otwns people didn't like him.. So everytime his dad was drunk, he would physically abuse Josh's mum.. Well, everytime Josh saw his mum being abused, he would try to stop his dad but he could not.. (He was only 7 at that time?) And well, he said to his dad.. "When i get old enough, i will kill you!" So all his childhood he was planning to murder his dad.. Well, when he got old enough, his brother had enough of the family and went to court to gain posession of a worker's barn in their parents farm and move it somewhere else i America.. Josh's parents objected saying they needed to barn to house the workers.. Well, Josh was so sad and so went inside the Barn and covered himself in the hay and shut the doors to try to prevent the barn from being taken away.. When he waited for quite a while and found no response, he went out of the barn and saw his brother and some other adults talking bad things about his parents.. At that moment, he got so mad and charged at his brother.. Then he blanked out.. Josh sad he forgot what he did at that time but it was one of the times he blanked out.. Ok, another time he saw his mum lying on the floor sobbing and he rushed to his mum and said "Mum!! Mum!! I'm here.. its ok.. whats wrong?"And his mum replied.. "Son, i am so dissapointed with your father and i find no reason to live anymore." And this made Josh even more angry with his dad.. Subsequently, when he went to study in college..?? Well, he wasn't really accepted in his school but there was this group of people.. Students and lecturers alike.. Well, they seemed to share this love for each other.. Josh, being curious befriended them.. Ok so as the days went by, Josh asked the reason for this amaxing love.. And well, they said that it was Jesus Christ.. Ok, at that moment he went into a frenzied rage.. Because he was angry at God for what happened in his life as a child.. So subsequently, when he went abroad, he went to many different places.. Middle eastern countries etc to compile information to discredit God.. But in the end, he ended up believing more and more and finally, he realised that God really did care for him..
And tht was his story.. Ok, Josh also shared with us many other things.. He showed us videos with showed lots of evidence that Jesus was indeed the messiah as prophesised by the scriptures... Well, did u know that the sciptures tht prophesised Jesus's coming was written 200 yrs before he was born?? And, there are a total of 333 prophesy's about him.. Also, a total of 21.. or was it 29 prophesis were fufilled on the day of his death.. Ok, so Josh said that the possibilities of a person fufilling all these prophesis would be like 10 to the power of 12.. Wah lau!! And, the video also showed that if all the possibilities represented cookies and fillied the entire state of texas, and only one of them was white, the possibility of swimming through the cookie filled texas blind flooded and picking up the white cookie would be impossible... Oh My Gosh!!
Ok, Josh also said that he knew that if he was the only man alive on the face of this earth. Jesus would still have died for him.. Wow!! And, there was this short skit that showed us not to put our faith in feeling..

I shared money with 2 Crusaders to buy this book.. "A Ready Defence" It contains a lot of information on the cults like Jehovah witnesses and mormons and also why shld be believe in the bible, and also what prophesis in the bible came through and what great archelogical finds were made using the bible.. Aslo explained why Jesus was indeed the Son of God and a whole lot more!!
Ok, friday after my Gems test i went to my Dgl's church.. again.. Haha.. His church, Jurong Christian Church was having a Christmas event.. Well, i have to say that it was a very UNIQUE way of sharing Christ to those non-Christians!! Wow!! The Church invited a blind lady and a deaf lady from britain, along with another guy who was in charge of the 2 to spread the Christmas joy.. Well, the blind lady's name was marilyn and she was a well known gospel singer in Britain.. Hmm.. she told us how she felt when she went blind and how her parents always gave her material things constantly because she was blind.. But, even though she haad so many material items, she felt an emptiness inside of her.. Back in school she could hear ppl talking abt Jesus Christ and one day,when she opened her mail box, she was surprised to find a bible book written in Braille!! (The blind language) Well, she read it and found tht it made perfect sense.. And she commited her life to Christ.. Ok, the dear lady ,Tracy, was deaf at a young age.. But she shared with us that the weird thing was, for 3 years she did not know she was deaf.. And well, everytime people talked to her in sch and sahe did not respond, they would think she was stupid and so they kept calling her stupid.. But, she got to know about god later in her life and has dedicated her life to God.. Well, she has bodly tried to perform the actions for a Christian song as Marilyn played the piano and sang.. Wow, she was really trying her best and Great work there!!
After the performace we went downstairs for a buffet spread.. Ok, Marilyn and Tracy taught us Crusader's the sign language.. Hmm.. and i am still seeing the usual ex-bbss student in tht Church.. zzzzz.. Dunno why but every other Churhc i visit always will have bbss or ex-bbss ppl inside..
Ok, on Saturday we had gen12ii training in the morning.. Ok, my staff ronald told us not to have filters when sharing the gospel with others.. That is, we should not limit our sharing to ppl we like to share with.. And, during street evangelism, we should not just say that we are scared of reaching to crowds and totally ignore them.. This really spoke to me..
Then, Sharon, from the nyp Crusade.. (I knew her from a recent Crusade Metamorphosis camp held in October where i spotted her wearing the Cosbt t-shirt..) went with me to Cosbt for cellgrp. Ok, i wasn't surprised to find bbss ppl inside coz sharon told me abt them.. The cellleader has also seen me before in Cosbt.. (We were in the 2002 mission trip together..)
Then came Snl.. the cellgrp kept asking if i was gg to Snl until finally i gave up and decided to go.. Hmm.. they were showing a video abt a mission trip 3 yrs ago.. And that was when i recognised Hubert!! He was that Chinese guy talking t pastor Daniel abt the witch Doctor lady whom recieved Christ during that Mission trip 3 yrs ago and is now a very Strong Christian.. Hey i remember hearing abt that lady!! During the 2002 mission trip i remember hearing abt a lady crippled in the left leg who was saved when a few ppl prayed for her.. And there was that lady in the video!!! Woo hoo!! Ok, they went on to say that the lasy was the villagewitch doctor before, and that every feet of her house was filled with idols of all kinds.. But, she repented and recieved christ.. The mission tripers also helped her remove her idols one by one after she said she wanted to receive Christ. I think the temple where they worshipped before had a sacrificial place where animals had to be slaughtered so that peole could receive blessings from fallen angels.. If they did not give sacrifices, they would receive bad luck and they would have a bad harvest.. Ok, that video showed a great event.. Apparently, 3-4 days before the day the video was taken, the temples treasurer, after being exposed to Christ when the ex-witchdoctor shared with her constantly, made an effort to receive Christ.. Wow!! So fast siah!!

So, ChangYao, one of my former Sp crusade staff (Now serving in nus Campus Crusade) introduced me to some nus peeps and wel, i sat with them.. They all so old liao.. 21+ yrs old.. >.<
Well, Josh gave a very interesting talk.. Did u know that he is writting the book countering the negative views on Christianity gave by the Da-Vinci Code?!?! THE VERY MAN!! And i ate curry puffs and doughnuts after the talk in the church right next to him!!! My goodness!! He has also went to like 117 countries (i forgot the exact amt) to give speeches and also wrote 99 bks based on Christianity? ( i tink so..)After we left the talk we got a free book from Josh Mc Dowell titled "More than a Carpenter"!! =)
And, i saw miss Amy Lau , he lady who gave me insights on Christology during my first meta camp in october.. Wow.. she still remembers me.. ^^
Ok i had a mock test in Sp at 4.00 so i left soon.. Was supposed to have a whole list of questions on the Da-Vinci Code to ask him but, i decided not to as he said he was quite tired and yeah, he will answer m questions anyway through his book.. Actually its a series which has this fictional characters.. 2 University students asking a University professorquestions on the Da-Vinci Code and the answers being revealed..Did u know that 95% of the Da-Vinci code is just pure fiction?? And to think that some buisnessmen actually stopped supporting their churches financially after reading the Da-Vinci Code.. But, i did backslide due to that book so i better keep my big mouth shut.. =P
So yeah, the book will be oficially distributed in America in Febuary and Singapore in March.. Its before the Date the Da-Vinci Code movie will be released so dun worry.. Remember that date is march 19th.. To all Christians: Do prepare urselfs spiritually for it..

ISSUE: SPEAKING IN TONGUES
SCRIPTURE REF: 1 Cor 14, ACTS 2, 12
1. Tongues is a language given by God and it is a language that one has not learnt before. Once a believer has received the gift of tongues from God, he can pray in tongues by faith at all times
2. Tongues is a supernatural gift given by God. Tongues cannot be taught, and should not be misused or abused.
3. When a believer speaks in tongues to God, he is speaking mysteries to God and in doing so edify himself.
4. When a person prays in tongues, it is his spirit that prays but his mind is unfruitful. 1 Cor 14:15 says, "I will pray with my spirit, but I will also pray with my mind. I will sing with my spirit, but I will also sing with my mind."
5. Tongues can be spoken in private as well as in church assembly. The Bible says that we should not forbid speaking in tongues. The exercising of tongues must be done reverently and with respect to the Holy Spirit. A believer should seek after this gift and know how to use it appropriately, whether in private or in church assembly
6. There are at least two applications of tongues – a "prayer" tongue and a "message" tongue. Prayer tongue is for communication with God in spirit (praying with his spirit), speaking mysteries to God in tongues. Although the mind is unfruitful but praying with his spirit edifies the self. A message tongue is for communication from God to the church assembly given in tongues.
7. Tongues when spoken in a church assembly should be done in an orderly manner. A message in tongues must be spoken forth one at a time and not more than three as the recipients exercise it forth. A message in tongues that is spoken forth alone and aloud is to be followed by an interpretation. God will prompt either the speaker or someone else with the gift of interpretation of tongues to interpret the tongue message. This is for the strengthening and edification of the whole church. If there is no interpretation, the speaker must keep silent or be allowed to speak softly to himself and to God.
8. A believer comes to church meetings to minister to God and to man. He also comes to be edified. There are many ways to be edified – through testimonies, reading the Bible, praise and worship, praying in understanding, praying in tongues, etc. A believer who prays in tongues in a church meeting to edify himself should speak softly to himself and God. A church leader can lead the people in a church meeting to pray in understanding or in unknown tongues to communicate with God to receive self-edification.
9. Tongues are a sign, not for believers but for unbelievers. (1 Cor 14:22)
10. A believer who wishes to minister to people in a church meeting needs to be ministered to by God. To prepare oneself to be a minister in a church meeting, if a believer chooses to edify himself through the means of speaking in tongues, it is good for him to do so at home, before coming to a church meeting. By so doing, when the believer comes to a church meeting, he is already edified and ministered to by God and therefore can immediately exercise and operate the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
11. A believer can edify himself by praying in tongues in the church meeting before ministering to others in the church assembly. In this instance, the believer must be considerate to the sensitivities of others in the meeting – he should pray softly so as not to cause distraction to others or disruption to the church meeting. A church leader can lead the people in a church meeting to pray in understanding or in unknown tongues to communicate with God to receive self-edification, before ministering to others in the church assembly.
12. A believer speaking in tongues in a church assembly must exercise self-control. The church leader in charge of a church meeting can lead the whole congregation to pray in understanding and in tongues. A church leader leading a church meeting in tongues must not yell or shout over the microphones. He must be wise and sensitive to ensure that the whole meeting is conducted in an orderly manner and in love.
Everything done in the church meeting or church assembly, whether it be the use of
tongues, prophecy, etc, it is to be done for the edification of believers and in an orderly manner and in love, "for God is not a God of disorder but of peace". (1 Cor 14:33)

It has happened to me..
This condition known as Scoliosis.. Its a disease that 1% of the worlds population acquires at birth..
This is taken from the Health Promotion Boards Brochure on Scoliosis.. May this shed some light on my Condition.. ='( *Close to tears??*
What is scoliosis?
it is a medical condition in which the spine is curved to one side. It can occir in a child, usually from 10 years old and may worsen during the period of rapid growth that occurs just before puberty.Once this growth spurt has stopped, the curve usually becomes stable.
Mild curves are quite common in boys and girld. But the curves in girls are more likely to become worse during the growth spurt. If not treated, scoliosis may lead to severedeformity.
What are the sign of scoliosis?
You may notice one or more of the following signs in a child:
When standing up,
1. the body does not look symmetrical
2.the spine appears curved, with the body leaning to one side.
3.one shoulder appears to be higher than the other.
4.one shoulder blade is more visible (sticks out more) than the other.
5. one hip is higher than the other.
6.in a girl, one side of the chest or breast may appear more prominent than the other.
7.clothes do not fit properly.
8.When bending forward, a rb "hump" appears.
Scoliosis does not usualy cause back pain, although some paitients may experience mild discomfort with physical activity.
Take your child to see a doctor if u think that he or she has one of the signs above.
What causes scoliosis?
Most of the time, the cause of scoliosis is unknown. Scoliosis sometimes occurs in families. It may sometimes be due to illnesses acquired before birth, or problems with the nerves, muscles or bones.
Scoliosis is not caused by...
Scoliosis is not caused by a deficiency in the diet or poor milk intake. Nevertheless, a balanced diet is important for a growing child to be healthy and fit.
Scoliosis is not thought to be caused by carrying heavy schoolbags. Neither is it caused by or worsened with any particular physical activity or sleeping position.
Is scoliosis preentable?
We do not know how to prevent scoliosis. But once it occurs, the curve can be treated to prevent it worsening. The doctor will manage the child according to howw serious the curve is and will advise the parents accordingly.
How does the School Health Service (SHS) help?
The mission of the SHS is to promotegood health and reduce illness in the school-going population. HS teams comprising doctors and nurses visit schools annually to provide health screening, including screening for scoliosis in vertain primary and secondary levels.
Screening for scoliosis...
The forward Bending Test is the methof used to screen for scoliosis. The child has to bend forward so that the doctor or nurse can examine the back.
A Scoliometer is also used to check for scoliosis.
If a "Hump" is detected, the child will be refered to the Student Health Centre (SHS) for further evaluation. If necessary, further tests such as a computerised surface analysis or an X-ray of the spine may be done.
What further tests are done?
The computerised (Jenoptik) is a 3-D reconstruction of the surface of the back. A lamp projects horizontal lines onto the child's back. These line patterns are recorded and thenn analysed byy the computer to produce a 3-D picture of the back. This will provide information on how serious the curve is.
An X-ray of the spine can help doctors assess the degree of hte spinal curve and the stage of the growth of the child's skeleton.
Treatment of scoliosis.
The treatment thta will be recommended depends on the child's age, the stage of growth of the bones, the extent of the curve and how fast the curve is progressing.
Scoliosis is more likely to progress in a young child whose skeleton is still growing. Hence a child with a mild curve and whose skeleton is still growing will be seen regularly by the doctor at the SHC.
If the curve s moderate, the doctor may order bracing of the spine. The aim of bracing is to prevent the curve form becoming worse. Bracing should be continued until the child's bones are fully grown. If the curve is severe, the docotr may advise an operation to correct the scoliosis.
Will my child be able to lead a normal life?
Children with scoliosis should be able to lead normal lives and enjoy healthy activites like swimming and other sports. In fact they should be physically active and lead a healthy lifestyle.
So yeah, thats what i am facing now.. Its now currently at 44 degrees.. (based on the last check up a few weeks ago) (Well, on december when my Xray was taken it was 38 degrees..) Ok, if u have noticed, my shoulder really is tiliting to my left.. During sec1 my classmates already noticed this.. In my Boy's Brigade drill practices in sec sch ppl have noticed that my right hand appeard shorter than my left hand and they thought it was because of the operation i had in sec 3 on my right hand when it was fractured after i fell playing floorball... But, that was not the case.. Also, during drill practice, i was often scolded for slanting my left shoulder.. Pppl would say that it was a habit and i should work towards correcting it... Also even in poly, ppl have commented on why my shoulder was always tiltled.. ='( Well, in sec sxch they did a screening for everyone and i was thought to have scoliosis.. But i insisted that the nurse check a 2nd time and well, by some stupid luck she said i didn't have scoliosis.. Ok on the nxt check up the nxt yr, i quickly asked the nurses straight why i had such a condition.. (Slanting shoulders) My friends had asked me to go for a check up before as they suspected sth was wrong but whenever i asked my mum to do so, she would scold me and say it was my bad habit.. Wah liao!! Ok, so they said at first that i had some other condition.. But when i passed the makeshift room used for the nurses to conduct theitr checkups the nxt day, they rushed to me and said i had a diff condition as earlier suspected.. Well, they said i had scoliosis..Ok, at that time i did not know what scoliosis was, but yeah, they sent me a referral to the HPB...Health Promotion Board..) Ok, i was too busy for that check up and when they sent me another reminder thru post, i just threw that post away.. Ok, then my dad set up a referral for me to Sgh.. Ok i did an X-ray and yeah, he declared that the tilt was 38 degrees and told me to come again for another check up.. Haha.. Missed that check up.. So when i was experiencing back pains last month, my mum panicked and quickly fixed another appointment with sgh.. Well, now i am going to be transferred to nuh for 2nd opinion.. hope everything goes well.. =P
I still remember the time in Sp as i was walking up the stairs in T-17 when i suddenly felt this sudden pain in my spine.. I cried in pain and collapsed to the ground, unable to get up as my Spine was really painful.. The entire day was really horrible as i kept feeling pain all over my back.. So, that day after sch i went to see a doctor who gave me some painkillers for my condition.. B
ut, some ppl have said not to continue the painkillers as the "pain" is my body's natural defece and yeah, if i take painkillers, i won't know if moving my body in a certain position will affect my spine in any wya.. Basically, the pains are dere to render my body iimmobile and prevent me from moving my body in those positions..
Its really painful at times and i can't go for an poeration now as it is major and i will unable to go to sch for 3 months.. After the one day operation, i will have to rests for 3 whole months.. Not a very good bargain i think.. The doctor suggested to do it during my NS.. After the major operation, i will not be able to have good roles in the army and i will be cast into an office job in the army.. Its not my fault tht i have this disease lehx.. =(
The operation has a 0.001% chance of failing.. which means i could get paralysed for life..
Also, after my operation i will be much taller than now.. So, at least dere's sth to look up too.. sigh.. Guys, pls pray for me..

Went to NUH today morning with my mum to see my grandma, who is had operation to remove a cancer causing tumor a few days ago.. Well, when she was resting in the hospital after the operations, she was in great pain and my mum and my uncles and aunties all took turns to keep watch of her... Haha.. today i so lucky.. She has recovered when i came to see her and she was smiling.. Well, although we are not close, but, i think she saw that i cared when i visited her.. I'm goinmg to continue the visits with my mum.. Hope to see to her salvation one day.. Hmm..today she was well enought to finally put on her dentures.. U all may say "Ewwww.." But, she's my grandma ok.. so keep ur comments to urself..

The Campus Crusade For Christ Singapore Polytechnic is publishing our very own Newsletter (called Godspel..) very soon.. Well, apparently, it stopped publishing after its first issue last year.. The Crusade Seniors in the Newsletter committee decidde to revive the Newsletter this year.. Well, i joined the commitee and i am trying to help out as best as i can in the Newsletter.. I'm doing editing btw.. ^^
Ok, our Newsletter is going to bbe published quite soon.. Well, the commitee had discussed about it and we have agreed on it being distributed during the Christmas week.. The Gdospel Newsletter is going to be published every 3 months.. (Thats 4 issues ever year..) And yeah, its purpose is to inform all Crusader's on the lately Crusade events and also the Christian Lecturers and Students in Sp..
Maybe after they get to know more abt the Crusasde, they will feel compiled to donate money to our Crusade fund.. Well, its common sense mahx.. Would u dontate to an Organisation if u dun find out properly what it does?? =P
Hmm.. during our meeting on friday at the Crusade room, we did the SWOT.. Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunites, and Threats for our Crusade Newsletter, as well as how many times it will be published a year and our target audience..

Wah lau ehx.. today i got owned by fever.. last day of 2005 somemore!! Sobx.. i had such a good record.. not sick at all for the entire year.. and then , on the very last day of the year, the fever virus gets a free frag!! M..m..m..m..onster kill + total Ownage!! Well, my mum told me to take panadol.. (which i did..) HEY, IT REALLY HELPS!! About half an hour after taking 2 panadol tablets, my room fan blow me at highest speed i still dun feel cold!! lolx!!
But hey, 2005 has been a memorable year.. Really missed those days before poly 1st sem started where i was still working part time.. Sigh.. And yeah, really missed those times i stayed at home to play Gunbound and runescape.. Well, i know that hardly anyone plays those games nowadays, and everyone is now playing Maple Story.. Arrgghh!! Whats so nice bout Maple Story!! Even the cash items can only last for a while.. Its so unlike Gunbound!!
And, the 2nd half of 2005 was like sch again.. -.-" But hey, i really enjoy poly life.. Mostly due to my poly cca.. =P Hmm.. Also really treasure ALL my poly classmates and friends.. I jsut want to say that i really appreciate u guys and i am so blessed to know each and everyone of you..

Hmm.. i just wanna thank all the crusaders for their encouragingemails and smses and i really am very grateful to those crusaders whomade it to my grandfathers wake.. I'm sure some of you have alreadyknown my parents better..My grandfathers death didn't mean the end of everything in my life..I still need to pick up the pieces and carry on with my life.. Maybetheres a lesson to learn after this traumatising ordeal..Well, i realised from my mum that my grandfather had rejected thegospel before.. A few decades ago when he was in Malaysia having ajoint buisness with a few ppl.. His buisness partners tried sharingchrist with him.. but, he being a very traditional man, rejected whatthey said and decided to stick with Buddism.. It now raised an issuein my life.. where would he go.. and then many kept telling me thathe would go to hell..I don't know why...but I have the impression that God will showmercy. It seems kinda harsh whenever they say those who reject Christwill go to hell, but they often forget that we are not supposed tojudge, the final judgement is not passed and before that comes,anything can happen. Just remember that God is gracious andcompassionate, He is God, He is the beginning and ending.The Bible is only part of that is to come, it does not sayeverything...certain things are chosen by God to be made known butcertain things are not..So,we don't know what may come..Yeah...our God made known that those who chooses to reject God go tohell, but he didn't say he won't give them anymore chances did He?There is one story in the Bible, i can't remember what was it...butGod wanted to punish a nation, a person prayed to God for grace andhe managed to change God's mind. No, i'm not saying that we allowpeople to reject God. But all that has been said in the Bible willcome definitely but there are certainly things which God did notchoose to make known in the Bible....he may choose to give those whodidn't know His son or those who reject Him to repent....of coursethose who still ultimately reject God would prolly go down there.talking the path of Jesus is about denying yourself and taking up thecross, it is about repentance...it wasn't said in the Bible thatpeople who deny Christ in this life will go to hell for sure did it?Heh....but anyway, we don't know what will happen, just leave it toGod, He may have some twist and turns up his sleeve which is of graceand mercy...just pray about it, don't lose hope, don't give Satanthat power of doubt, don't lose hope for the salvation of a souluntill the judegement has been passed!!The fear that someone will go to hell is giving the authority ofjudgement to Satan, its like giving Satan the power, giving him theauthority over the souls of the unsaved people of this life...butremember, God will pass that judegement, He has overall authority.Fear belongs to Satan, its not of God.Do you believe in presdestination?(Hot topic with me even before my grandpas death..)Some ppl relate well to calvanism while others arminism..Yeah...there are verses in the Bible which surports either one...sothere are lots of conflicts within this area regardingpredestination...John Calvin believes that people are selected to goto heaven....whereas for arminism is for freewill..For me, what I believe is that, God definitely know who is with Himand who isn't....but I believe that it is on the free will of theindividual to choose the path he wants to take..God gave everyone of us a freedom of choice.. thats why alot ofhumans sin and choose to take a path that is seperates them fromhim.. my grandfather is one of them.. But god sent a means ofsalvation..and thats Jesus Christ..But still, many fail to receive the full gospel and some even chooseto foolishly reject it..Yeah...that's for sure..Arminism is about the free will of men to choose which path he wantsto take, to follow Christ or to reject Him....Hmm.. Whereas forCalvinism, it is that whether a person lands up in heaven or hell wasalready pre-determined..But if u think about it.. nothing is predetermined.. Everybody isgiven a chance to know about god.. And i mean EVERYBODY.. Ineverybody's lives, there is a seed planted in them to know abt thegospel.. For the non-Christians, it jsut takes Christians to helpthem water the seeds and grow them in faith..Losing hope is just not what God is.. Jesus gives us hope even at thedarkest moments...God will be the ending.. He'll close thechapter..The Bible is what God wants us to know but there are thingswhich are to be made known to us...so who knows, in hope, we do prayfor a second chance, a chance for their souls to repent..But please.. that doesn't give you guys an excuse not to reach out toyour loved ones.. Don't let your "filters" blind you on who to reachout to and affect your duty to reach to the lost..If you are feeling a sense of hopelessness in reaching to your lovedones, just pray about it..like me.. I don't think i wanna give theauthority of my grandpa's soul to Satan. I would rather give it toChrist in hope of grace and mercy...I hope my posting encourages all of you to reach out to your lovedones.. Don't ever think that your loved ones are save until the lastmoment where you regret it.. Be it a fatal car accident or a naturaldisaster.. We will never know when our loved ones may be faced withlife-threatening situations..I didn't expect my grandfather to part earlier.. I thought that mygrandmother was in a more life-threathening state when she wasdiagnosed with a cancer tumour.. But who knew.. my grandfathersuffered in the end because he worried too much for my grandma.. andhe found himself in the hospital.. And later, death..So, do take the task of reaching out to your loved ones VERY VERYseriously.. I'm sure that if your heart is in the right place, Godwill surely be smiling up there in heaven..
Yesterday was the anniversary of the tusnami that devestated much of asia.. Anyways, i can really say that i am truly blessed to escape the tsunami in one piiece.. Because, 2 weeks before the tsunami hit phuket, i was in the most heavily devastaed area there shopping.. Yeah.. its patong beach.. the most expensive beach in phuket.. Even the hotels there are so expensive that my family had to stay in the south part of the island.. And i even went to visit phi-phi island.. The one island in phuket that had all its tourist buildings almost entirely destroyed by the onslaught of the tsunami.. Well, its kind of sad.. Last year when i went throught the straits times.. i could see pictures of the various resturants and pubs that i visited in the patong beach area.. All damaged severely..

I woke up today with a sense of desperation.. a sense of despair.. my grandpa's death was o sudden.. and i am not ready to accept it at all..If only i could go back in time for just one day, i could rush to the hospital to tell him about the love of jesus.. But, i just can't help but realise.. that no tears shed and nothing i ever do will bring him back.. He's not coming back.. I just cannot take it..
Now. i will never know if he might have that one chance to accept Jesus Christ as his lord and savior.. I had failed to give my loved one the greatest gift of all.. Will he part into the very place i wanted to save him from?? I am so scared for him.. All his life he has suffered ever so much.. and i have failed as a grandson to be close to him.. And, i couldn't even make up to him by guaranteeing his salvation and being able to see him one day in heaven..
Grandpa.. I miss you!! Why must this happen!! Christmas will never be the same again for me!! Maybe if he had been saved i wouldn't have been filled with sadness.. Because if he was saved, i would be smiling to know that he had been called home to the lord.. But, i won't be seeing that happening..
Heavenly loving father, won't you give my grandfather a second chance? Let him get to know your love for him and all your glory and power, that he may receive salvation.. Lord i thank you for granting him a peaceful death.. and i just pray that you will deliver him from eternal suffering in the fires of hell.. Heavenly father i pray for my grandma.. I pjust pray that u will protect her as she receives the news today of my grandpa's death.. I pray that she will stay strong and not be filled with dispair.. Lord, give her the courage to stand up again.. Give her a sense of calmness as she takes the news lord.. Help to ease the pain of her hubands death lord.. God i pray that i will not fail this time to reach out to my grandmother.. I pray that you will protect her throguh these years so that i can reach out to her and share the gospel with her lord.. Lord i prayfor the softening of her heart that as she hears what i have to say, i pray that she will accept it readily.. Heavenly father, you have called me to be a shining light to my entire family, and i take that task of saving my entire family.. Heavenly father i just thank you for the miracles you have done in my life.. I thank you for changing my mum's heart that she allows me to bring people to share the gospel with my grandmother.. Lord i also want to pray for my family.. I know that some of them care for my grandparents not becaue of true love lord.. But because of money lord.. Lord i really want to pray that you make them see the errors of their ways lord.. lord i pray that they will start being more loving and caring to my grandmother lord because of love lord.. And lord, my grandparents have helped raise up my 4 uncles and my mum nto successful people in this wolrd lord and i really pray that all my relatives will respect them for that and not harm my grandmother any further.. And i really pray for thesoftening of their hearts too so that i may do my duty in spresing the great comission to them too.. Lord i just resdt my grandmother nto your loving hands and i just pray that you will use me mightily to deliver her and bring her salvation.. In jesus name i pray..

I don't really know why this has to happen..Well, after my classmate and fellow crusader Junnie shared to all thecrusaders about her aunt having cancer, i remembered that mygrandmother was diagnosed with cancer last week.. But, it was soserious that no one ever broke the news to my grandmother.. Well, mymum told me that my granfather cried and cried when he heard thenews.. The doctors also said the chances of a succesful operation wereslim.. But, i wasn't close to my grandmother..And, i don't know whatto do.. I had not shared Christ to her before as she only spokeCantonese and a little bit of Chinese(My Chinese sucks btw..) and nowi am beggining to become desperate..I had thought of sending a few memebers of my Church CantoneseCongretion to talk to her amonth ago butnow, it seems so late.. She iscurrently in the hospital and only my uncles, aunties and my mum getto see her..Not only that.. I also realised somethnig i should have done a longtime ago.. I had 3 cousins in poly.. And not one of them i had everreached out to before.. That made me feel worse..Now, it looks like only prayer can solve the problems i am facingnow.. Crusaders, what should i do?

Just after my grandma went back home after resting in the hospital.something happend to my Grandfather.. And i just feel so helpless...My grandmother had successfully removed a cancer causing tumour butalmost all of her large intestines were removed during the opeation,rendering her helpless and in need of ppl to help her remove herfaeces in disposable bags daily.My grandfather was looking after my grandmother and shockingly, hestill cooks and cleans the entire house, even though he is 85 yearsold.. My mum even said tht my grandfather even hanged the clotingout the window and tht was really troubling, as he could easily falloff..Well, this just happened yesterday. My grandfather had 2 heartattacks and had to be warded into the hospital after his 2nd attack.His first attack occured when one of my uncles was looking aftertheir house. Well, he took ihis medication and was visibly better.But when my mum took over the shift to look after their house, atard 12.30 to 1 O clock, my grandfathe had another heart attack.This time, no medication could help ease his pain and well, he wasrushed to the hospital within 10 minutes.I am so scared tht i may never be able to reach out to mygrandparents in time. Guys please pray for them!!

Wah liao!! my Grandfather admitted to hospital coz hear attack due tolung bursting.. (Read the last posting..) Come out of sgh lung burstagain!! This time, they had to cut a hole thru his body to mend thelung.. But the problem is, those doctors at sghj treating mygrandfather are all young docs.. So, they dun do a good job.. And, theygive so little painkiller when they try to mend the lung again that hescreamed when they did the mending.. Oh no.. >.< its like i am really rushing for time to reach to them.. I just canoot take the pressure anymore.. *Breaks down and cries*

Date: 20-12-12Reply to Winnie in response to her encouragement thru email..Hi winnie.. Its kinda funny.. during the time that i went to visit mygrandfather today, u sent me this email.. And yeah, i really made mypresense known to him today.. Coz, i wasn't even close to him at alland if i didn't come, he wouldn't have minded coz i wasn't evenregular in his house visits over the years.. And yeah, i did pray forhim.. Said 2 prayers.. One for his recovery and for the staff of sghto be more caring towards him.. The other prayer was for thesoftening of his heart so that next time, if i ever share the gospelwith him, he would be ready to accept whatever i say.. But, helooked even worse than i expected.. He was quite weary and tired anddid not have the strength to eat his dinner.. Also, his face wasquite different from before.. I tink its coz he looked too shag..And, last time his voice was quite gruff.. But now, his voice soundedquite funny and also very soft.. I cried softly as i saw hiscondition.. But, its like i may not be able to make regular trips tothe hospital to see him.. Coz, my mum is too tired to continuevisiting him and has decided to ask my uncles to take over her shiftsfor her..Date: 21-12-12Hey all.. Then i quicklyasked her what would happen to my grandparents if they were...... well, she quickly caught on what i message i was trying to bringand she asked how i was going to talk to them abt christ as they werecantonese.. But i said that i had friends who could help and guesswhat!! She gave me the OK to send friends over to share the gospel tothem!! Woo Hoo!! Hey guys, i dun think there's really a need tofollow up on my grandparents anymore in the yahoo grps.. I think ican handle things.. =) But i just want to thank those crusaders whohave approached me to give me encouragement and even prayed for me..(You guys know who you are..) Many thanks!! =)

But hey, to those crusaders reading thisbefore 7.00 am on friday, i just want to let u guys know that out ofsome reason i dunno abt, my grandfather is now going to have a majoroperation for his lungs tml at 7 sth.. Well, when i saw him yesterday,he was having regular injections every 2 hours supposed to monitor theamt of a certain blood thingy normally discharged from his kidney..Appaarently, too much discharge of this thingy will be somewhat relatedto damaging his lungs.. Well.. not really sure why he needs a major operation.. But pls pray for him? Thanks all..

hmm..funny siah.. grandpa suppose to have operation today morning..but, got one emergency operation needed to be done my doctor at 7 sthto 9 sth and another from 9 sth to 11 sth.. then lunch time they saythe doc too tired to operate on my grandpa.. So well, my mum and unclejust wasted one day( work leave also) waiting for the operation to takeplace..Grandpa also very angry at hospital.. Operation scheduled fortml anyways.. Hope there's no more delays... =((Whole family mad at sgh coz of bad service.. Like eg last time mygrandma went sgh for a common eye cataract operation done for old ppl..Chances of mishap 0.001%, yet my grandma got her one eye blinded by it.Haixx.. SO now, guess my mum is gonna request all future operations tobe done in Nuh..)

I didn't expect this to happen.. I REALLY DIDN'T!!! But my mum and dadcame back home and said that my grandfather had passed away in theafter his operation.. WHY MUST THIS HAPPEN!!! WHY!! I have failed toreach out to him!!! I HAVE FAILED!!!! FAILED!!! WHY!!! WHY!!All along i had such high hopes of reaching out to him.. And now he isgone..I just cannot take it anymore.. I just can't!!! If only i hadnot been so stupid as to backslide and had reached out to himearlier!! IF ONLY I HAD DONE SO!!! I haven't even begun reaching out to him yet.. I have not even guaranteed his salvation!!
My posting: My grandfather wasn'r supposed to die so early.. But then again, he was living on borrowed time for 17 years, where he had so many major operations.. And, he knew he was gonig to die in the hospital, but he didn't tell us as he didn't want to worry us.. I did not know the seriousness of it until now.. I have failed.. My grandfather was admitted to the hospital becoz he was too worried sick of my grandma and got a heart attack.. He was nvr meant to die.. Tears have been shed today.. This may well be the saddest Christmas day in my entire life.. I'm not sure how my grandma will take the news of my grandpas death as we haven't told her of it yet.. But whatever happens i hope thast u all will pray that she won't be affected too much.. I really need to reach out to her!! Guys pray for her!!

yo guys.. back from a tiring week of "E-learning".. Well, Sp WAS conducting its e-learning exercise for all Sp students where no one was to go to sch and we all access materials online.. Yup.. is kinda suck.. No school.. Imagine that.. And the worst part is.. The online website "Blackboard" where we are to access all our materials is so lag!!.. I think its coz too many Sp students are usign it at one time.. And i got really mad when the ppl incharge of the e-learning week encouraged students to login at night, where it wasn't so lag.. Wah liao!! Who also dunno this!! Ppl need to sleep at night ok!! U tink everybody is a night worker ah? I think we Sp students are guinea pigs for Sp's advertiseing campaigns.. Also i heard taht nxt yr they are going to pull off another such event.. *Shakes head and sighs* Don't they ever learn.. Well, the e-learning week served Sp 2 Impt purposes..
1.It saved Sp 1 whole week of electrical and water bills by eating up 1 week of our school fees that our parents worked so hard to earn.
2.It is going to use e-learning in the future to cut back on the number of lecturers it will have.. (Once again, another cost factor..)
But, it has good points..
1.More time for Sp students to study for our common tests.. (Which i tink they will set harder questions coz of longer study break..)
2.Some well deserved rest for our school lecturers.. (Some of you guys will definitely know why i am so supportive of Sp lecturers..)
This week was rather hectic.. Quite busy with quizzes, projects and assignments.. Well, also had a Campus Crusade Christmas party on thursday night.. Dun really wish to talk bout it..
And well, i just came back from my church christmas event.. Hmm.. it was quite a different church event.. And well, i got to re-know all those church ppl that i didn't see for 2 years? Some didn't recognise me till i told them my name..They also said that my hair has changed my entire appearance.. One even associated it with smoking and drinking.. Ahaha.. Dun worry lah.. Even though i want to be trendy* i won't go to such extremes.. Also, i was quite surprised that my church has ppl who view my blog.. I dunno how they know of my blog add. up till know.. (Everyone who has viewed my blog says they got the add from secret sources..) Oookk.. Lets assume its some "secret sources".. Christians being secretive.. Hmm.. thats backstabbing u know?? Someone is going to have to admit who first stumbled on my blog add one day.. I just have this hunch that the guy knew my blog add while searching in yahoo or google.. And he just accidentally stumbled on it. Lucky for the church ppl.. Unlucky for me.. (Thats how i got to know alot of my church ppl's blog addresses.. Lol..)
Hmm.. i dun really know if having my blog add a good thing or bad thing, but i feel that i should keep u guys updated on my Campus Crusade For Christ in Sp. Maybe it will help remove some negative thoughts on it and also encourage ppl to join it.. Well, to those bb members or bb officers who are viewing my blog.. I jsut wanna say that joining the bb in sec sch was one of the reasons why i found myself in church.. So yeah, i have been hearing many negative views from bb members who quit bb during their sec sch lives and it really hurt.. But, i just wanna say thaanks to all those bb members and officers who have really shaped my life to what i am today.. Even though i may not be updated on the bb activites or anything.. (too busy for that ) =P i really hope hat u ppl will continue to impact the lives of new bb members... Rock on!!

The giving tree at North East..
Crap event.. Go dere not because i want to help out but bcoz i needed the cip hours for my cd module in Sp.. Was slacking on the first day.. But i did visit the volunteer booths and got to know more bout one organisation.. The vegetarian society.. They educated me alot.. I also somehow spent most of my time watching their video on animal abuse.. Quite interesting.. But too much info for me to blog down.. Ask me bout it bah.. U may want to turn vegetarian after that.. I just wanna say that everytime that everytime he comes out of his water tank for a break, he gets a puff form cigarettes!!! WTF!! Screw him lah!! His diving team also got ppl smoking!! Wah Liao!! U ppl are A DISGRACE TO SINGAPORE!! Wanna break world records u better make sure u all have a good image for Singapore!! Dun tink i cannot see u all puffing smokes up there.. I was doing security during the Giving Tree Event ok!! And u all sibei lucky the Giving Tree organisers decided to let u guys off!!! Freaking smokers!! Get lost!!

Ok this is a conversation that i had with a Crusade senior.. i knew him before poly started when the crusade had some pre-poly activities.. Well, when i was backslidding he was very encouraging and answered quitealot of my bible questions.. Now,sadly he is questioning his faith and even asks why he has not seen god working in his life since he bacame a Christian.. Ok, the Crusade has tried to talk to him (Those few ppl who know him lah..) His dgl is a crusade staff and we are trying hard to talk to him.. So, here is how i started the conversation.. Right now, the law for siam-ing NS is either jail or a maximum $5000 fine. We agree that sometimes jail may not be appropriate, yet $5000 fine is also a bit the cheap, leh! Ok i know i should have blogged this down much earlier.. But this week i was VERY VERY busy.. So sorry guys.. I had like 2 mock tests and 2 assignments to submit and one Gems test to do.. Arrrgghh!!! as so tired in the end...
Ok, lets get to the point.. The Bold Truth Rally was great.. Josh Mc Dowell's message was quite simple and short.. But it spoke alot to all of us.. Well, he told his life story before he knew god.. Apparently as a young kid he was in a disfunctional family... His dad was the only drunk in a small town in America and well, all the otwns people didn't like him.. So everytime his dad was drunk, he would physically abuse Josh's mum.. Well, everytime Josh saw his mum being abused, he would try to stop his dad but he could not.. (He was only 7 at that time?) And well, he said to his dad.. "When i get old enough, i will kill you!" So all his childhood he was planning to murder his dad.. Well, when he got old enough, his brother had enough of the family and went to court to gain posession of a worker's barn in their parents farm and move it somewhere else i America.. Josh's parents objected saying they needed to barn to house the workers.. Well, Josh was so sad and so went inside the Barn and covered himself in the hay and shut the doors to try to prevent the barn from being taken away.. When he waited for quite a while and found no response, he went out of the barn and saw his brother and some other adults talking bad things about his parents.. At that moment, he got so mad and charged at his brother.. Then he blanked out.. Josh sad he forgot what he did at that time but it was one of the times he blanked out.. Ok, another time he saw his mum lying on the floor sobbing and he rushed to his mum and said "Mum!! Mum!! I'm here.. its ok.. whats wrong?"And his mum replied.. "Son, i am so dissapointed with your father and i find no reason to live anymore." And this made Josh even more angry with his dad.. Subsequently, when he went to study in college..?? Well, he wasn't really accepted in his school but there was this group of people.. Students and lecturers alike.. Well, they seemed to share this love for each other.. Josh, being curious befriended them.. Ok so as the days went by, Josh asked the reason for this amaxing love.. And well, they said that it was Jesus Christ.. Ok, at that moment he went into a frenzied rage.. Because he was angry at God for what happened in his life as a child.. So subsequently, when he went abroad, he went to many different places.. Middle eastern countries etc to compile information to discredit God.. But in the end, he ended up believing more and more and finally, he realised that God really did care for him..
And tht was his story.. Ok, Josh also shared with us many other things.. He showed us videos with showed lots of evidence that Jesus was indeed the messiah as prophesised by the scriptures... Well, did u know that the sciptures tht prophesised Jesus's coming was written 200 yrs before he was born?? And, there are a total of 333 prophesy's about him.. Also, a total of 21.. or was it 29 prophesis were fufilled on the day of his death.. Ok, so Josh said that the possibilities of a person fufilling all these prophesis would be like 10 to the power of 12.. Wah lau!! And, the video also showed that if all the possibilities represented cookies and fillied the entire state of texas, and only one of them was white, the possibility of swimming through the cookie filled texas blind flooded and picking up the white cookie would be impossible... Oh My Gosh!!
Ok, Josh also said that he knew that if he was the only man alive on the face of this earth. Jesus would still have died for him.. Wow!! And, there was this short skit that showed us not to put our faith in feeling..

Ok, friday after my Gems test i went to my Dgl's church.. again.. Haha.. His church, Jurong Christian Church was having a Christmas event.. Well, i have to say that it was a very UNIQUE way of sharing Christ to those non-Christians!! Wow!! The Church invited a blind lady and a deaf lady from britain, along with another guy who was in charge of the 2 to spread the Christmas joy.. Well, the blind lady's name was marilyn and she was a well known gospel singer in Britain.. Hmm.. she told us how she felt when she went blind and how her parents always gave her material things constantly because she was blind.. But, even though she haad so many material items, she felt an emptiness inside of her.. Back in school she could hear ppl talking abt Jesus Christ and one day,when she opened her mail box, she was surprised to find a bible book written in Braille!! (The blind language) Well, she read it and found tht it made perfect sense.. And she commited her life to Christ.. Ok, the dear lady ,Tracy, was deaf at a young age.. But she shared with us that the weird thing was, for 3 years she did not know she was deaf.. And well, everytime people talked to her in sch and sahe did not respond, they would think she was stupid and so they kept calling her stupid.. But, she got to know about god later in her life and has dedicated her life to God.. Well, she has bodly tried to perform the actions for a Christian song as Marilyn played the piano and sang.. Wow, she was really trying her best and Great work there!!
After the performace we went downstairs for a buffet spread.. Ok, Marilyn and Tracy taught us Crusader's the sign language.. Hmm.. and i am still seeing the usual ex-bbss student in tht Church.. zzzzz.. Dunno why but every other Churhc i visit always will have bbss or ex-bbss ppl inside..
Ok, on Saturday we had gen12ii training in the morning.. Ok, my staff ronald told us not to have filters when sharing the gospel with others.. That is, we should not limit our sharing to ppl we like to share with.. And, during street evangelism, we should not just say that we are scared of reaching to crowds and totally ignore them.. This really spoke to me..
Then, Sharon, from the nyp Crusade.. (I knew her from a recent Crusade Metamorphosis camp held in October where i spotted her wearing the Cosbt t-shirt..) went with me to Cosbt for cellgrp. Ok, i wasn't surprised to find bbss ppl inside coz sharon told me abt them.. The cellleader has also seen me before in Cosbt.. (We were in the 2002 mission trip together..)
Then came Snl.. the cellgrp kept asking if i was gg to Snl until finally i gave up and decided to go.. Hmm.. they were showing a video abt a mission trip 3 yrs ago.. And that was when i recognised Hubert!! He was that Chinese guy talking t pastor Daniel abt the witch Doctor lady whom recieved Christ during that Mission trip 3 yrs ago and is now a very Strong Christian.. Hey i remember hearing abt that lady!! During the 2002 mission trip i remember hearing abt a lady crippled in the left leg who was saved when a few ppl prayed for her.. And there was that lady in the video!!! Woo hoo!! Ok, they went on to say that the lasy was the villagewitch doctor before, and that every feet of her house was filled with idols of all kinds.. But, she repented and recieved christ.. The mission tripers also helped her remove her idols one by one after she said she wanted to receive Christ. I think the temple where they worshipped before had a sacrificial place where animals had to be slaughtered so that peole could receive blessings from fallen angels.. If they did not give sacrifices, they would receive bad luck and they would have a bad harvest.. Ok, that video showed a great event.. Apparently, 3-4 days before the day the video was taken, the temples treasurer, after being exposed to Christ when the ex-witchdoctor shared with her constantly, made an effort to receive Christ.. Wow!! So fast siah!!

So, ChangYao, one of my former Sp crusade staff (Now serving in nus Campus Crusade) introduced me to some nus peeps and wel, i sat with them.. They all so old liao.. 21+ yrs old.. >.<
Well, Josh gave a very interesting talk.. Did u know that he is writting the book countering the negative views on Christianity gave by the Da-Vinci Code?!?! THE VERY MAN!! And i ate curry puffs and doughnuts after the talk in the church right next to him!!! My goodness!! He has also went to like 117 countries (i forgot the exact amt) to give speeches and also wrote 99 bks based on Christianity? ( i tink so..)After we left the talk we got a free book from Josh Mc Dowell titled "More than a Carpenter"!! =)
And, i saw miss Amy Lau , he lady who gave me insights on Christology during my first meta camp in october.. Wow.. she still remembers me.. ^^
Ok i had a mock test in Sp at 4.00 so i left soon.. Was supposed to have a whole list of questions on the Da-Vinci Code to ask him but, i decided not to as he said he was quite tired and yeah, he will answer m questions anyway through his book.. Actually its a series which has this fictional characters.. 2 University students asking a University professorquestions on the Da-Vinci Code and the answers being revealed..Did u know that 95% of the Da-Vinci code is just pure fiction?? And to think that some buisnessmen actually stopped supporting their churches financially after reading the Da-Vinci Code.. But, i did backslide due to that book so i better keep my big mouth shut.. =P

1. Tongues is a language given by God and it is a language that one has not learnt before. Once a believer has received the gift of tongues from God, he can pray in tongues by faith at all times
2. Tongues is a supernatural gift given by God. Tongues cannot be taught, and should not be misused or abused.
3. When a believer speaks in tongues to God, he is speaking mysteries to God and in doing so edify himself.
4. When a person prays in tongues, it is his spirit that prays but his mind is unfruitful. 1 Cor 14:15 says, "I will pray with my spirit, but I will also pray with my mind. I will sing with my spirit, but I will also sing with my mind."
5. Tongues can be spoken in private as well as in church assembly. The Bible says that we should not forbid speaking in tongues. The exercising of tongues must be done reverently and with respect to the Holy Spirit. A believer should seek after this gift and know how to use it appropriately, whether in private or in church assembly
6. There are at least two applications of tongues – a "prayer" tongue and a "message" tongue. Prayer tongue is for communication with God in spirit (praying with his spirit), speaking mysteries to God in tongues. Although the mind is unfruitful but praying with his spirit edifies the self. A message tongue is for communication from God to the church assembly given in tongues.
7. Tongues when spoken in a church assembly should be done in an orderly manner. A message in tongues must be spoken forth one at a time and not more than three as the recipients exercise it forth. A message in tongues that is spoken forth alone and aloud is to be followed by an interpretation. God will prompt either the speaker or someone else with the gift of interpretation of tongues to interpret the tongue message. This is for the strengthening and edification of the whole church. If there is no interpretation, the speaker must keep silent or be allowed to speak softly to himself and to God.
8. A believer comes to church meetings to minister to God and to man. He also comes to be edified. There are many ways to be edified – through testimonies, reading the Bible, praise and worship, praying in understanding, praying in tongues, etc. A believer who prays in tongues in a church meeting to edify himself should speak softly to himself and God. A church leader can lead the people in a church meeting to pray in understanding or in unknown tongues to communicate with God to receive self-edification.
9. Tongues are a sign, not for believers but for unbelievers. (1 Cor 14:22)
10. A believer who wishes to minister to people in a church meeting needs to be ministered to by God. To prepare oneself to be a minister in a church meeting, if a believer chooses to edify himself through the means of speaking in tongues, it is good for him to do so at home, before coming to a church meeting. By so doing, when the believer comes to a church meeting, he is already edified and ministered to by God and therefore can immediately exercise and operate the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
11. A believer can edify himself by praying in tongues in the church meeting before ministering to others in the church assembly. In this instance, the believer must be considerate to the sensitivities of others in the meeting – he should pray softly so as not to cause distraction to others or disruption to the church meeting. A church leader can lead the people in a church meeting to pray in understanding or in unknown tongues to communicate with God to receive self-edification, before ministering to others in the church assembly.
12. A believer speaking in tongues in a church assembly must exercise self-control. The church leader in charge of a church meeting can lead the whole congregation to pray in understanding and in tongues. A church leader leading a church meeting in tongues must not yell or shout over the microphones. He must be wise and sensitive to ensure that the whole meeting is conducted in an orderly manner and in love.
Everything done in the church meeting or church assembly, whether it be the use of
tongues, prophecy, etc, it is to be done for the edification of believers and in an orderly manner and in love, "for God is not a God of disorder but of peace". (1 Cor 14:33)

It has happened to me..
This condition known as Scoliosis.. Its a disease that 1% of the worlds population acquires at birth..
This is taken from the Health Promotion Boards Brochure on Scoliosis.. May this shed some light on my Condition.. ='( *Close to tears??*
What is scoliosis?
it is a medical condition in which the spine is curved to one side. It can occir in a child, usually from 10 years old and may worsen during the period of rapid growth that occurs just before puberty.Once this growth spurt has stopped, the curve usually becomes stable.
Mild curves are quite common in boys and girld. But the curves in girls are more likely to become worse during the growth spurt. If not treated, scoliosis may lead to severedeformity.
What are the sign of scoliosis?
You may notice one or more of the following signs in a child:
When standing up,
1. the body does not look symmetrical
2.the spine appears curved, with the body leaning to one side.
3.one shoulder appears to be higher than the other.
4.one shoulder blade is more visible (sticks out more) than the other.
5. one hip is higher than the other.
6.in a girl, one side of the chest or breast may appear more prominent than the other.
7.clothes do not fit properly.
8.When bending forward, a rb "hump" appears.
Scoliosis does not usualy cause back pain, although some paitients may experience mild discomfort with physical activity.
Take your child to see a doctor if u think that he or she has one of the signs above.
What causes scoliosis?
Most of the time, the cause of scoliosis is unknown. Scoliosis sometimes occurs in families. It may sometimes be due to illnesses acquired before birth, or problems with the nerves, muscles or bones.
Scoliosis is not caused by...
Scoliosis is not caused by a deficiency in the diet or poor milk intake. Nevertheless, a balanced diet is important for a growing child to be healthy and fit.
Scoliosis is not thought to be caused by carrying heavy schoolbags. Neither is it caused by or worsened with any particular physical activity or sleeping position.
Is scoliosis preentable?
We do not know how to prevent scoliosis. But once it occurs, the curve can be treated to prevent it worsening. The doctor will manage the child according to howw serious the curve is and will advise the parents accordingly.
How does the School Health Service (SHS) help?
The mission of the SHS is to promotegood health and reduce illness in the school-going population. HS teams comprising doctors and nurses visit schools annually to provide health screening, including screening for scoliosis in vertain primary and secondary levels.
Screening for scoliosis...
The forward Bending Test is the methof used to screen for scoliosis. The child has to bend forward so that the doctor or nurse can examine the back.
A Scoliometer is also used to check for scoliosis.
If a "Hump" is detected, the child will be refered to the Student Health Centre (SHS) for further evaluation. If necessary, further tests such as a computerised surface analysis or an X-ray of the spine may be done.
What further tests are done?
The computerised (Jenoptik) is a 3-D reconstruction of the surface of the back. A lamp projects horizontal lines onto the child's back. These line patterns are recorded and thenn analysed byy the computer to produce a 3-D picture of the back. This will provide information on how serious the curve is.
An X-ray of the spine can help doctors assess the degree of hte spinal curve and the stage of the growth of the child's skeleton.
Treatment of scoliosis.
The treatment thta will be recommended depends on the child's age, the stage of growth of the bones, the extent of the curve and how fast the curve is progressing.
Scoliosis is more likely to progress in a young child whose skeleton is still growing. Hence a child with a mild curve and whose skeleton is still growing will be seen regularly by the doctor at the SHC.
If the curve s moderate, the doctor may order bracing of the spine. The aim of bracing is to prevent the curve form becoming worse. Bracing should be continued until the child's bones are fully grown. If the curve is severe, the docotr may advise an operation to correct the scoliosis.
Will my child be able to lead a normal life?
Children with scoliosis should be able to lead normal lives and enjoy healthy activites like swimming and other sports. In fact they should be physically active and lead a healthy lifestyle.
So yeah, thats what i am facing now.. Its now currently at 44 degrees.. (based on the last check up a few weeks ago) (Well, on december when my Xray was taken it was 38 degrees..) Ok, if u have noticed, my shoulder really is tiliting to my left.. During sec1 my classmates already noticed this.. In my Boy's Brigade drill practices in sec sch ppl have noticed that my right hand appeard shorter than my left hand and they thought it was because of the operation i had in sec 3 on my right hand when it was fractured after i fell playing floorball... But, that was not the case.. Also, during drill practice, i was often scolded for slanting my left shoulder.. Pppl would say that it was a habit and i should work towards correcting it... Also even in poly, ppl have commented on why my shoulder was always tiltled.. ='( Well, in sec sxch they did a screening for everyone and i was thought to have scoliosis.. But i insisted that the nurse check a 2nd time and well, by some stupid luck she said i didn't have scoliosis.. Ok on the nxt check up the nxt yr, i quickly asked the nurses straight why i had such a condition.. (Slanting shoulders) My friends had asked me to go for a check up before as they suspected sth was wrong but whenever i asked my mum to do so, she would scold me and say it was my bad habit.. Wah liao!! Ok, so they said at first that i had some other condition.. But when i passed the makeshift room used for the nurses to conduct theitr checkups the nxt day, they rushed to me and said i had a diff condition as earlier suspected.. Well, they said i had scoliosis..Ok, at that time i did not know what scoliosis was, but yeah, they sent me a referral to the HPB...Health Promotion Board..) Ok, i was too busy for that check up and when they sent me another reminder thru post, i just threw that post away.. Ok, then my dad set up a referral for me to Sgh.. Ok i did an X-ray and yeah, he declared that the tilt was 38 degrees and told me to come again for another check up.. Haha.. Missed that check up.. So when i was experiencing back pains last month, my mum panicked and quickly fixed another appointment with sgh.. Well, now i am going to be transferred to nuh for 2nd opinion.. hope everything goes well.. =P
I still remember the time in Sp as i was walking up the stairs in T-17 when i suddenly felt this sudden pain in my spine.. I cried in pain and collapsed to the ground, unable to get up as my Spine was really painful.. The entire day was really horrible as i kept feeling pain all over my back.. So, that day after sch i went to see a doctor who gave me some painkillers for my condition.. B
ut, some ppl have said not to continue the painkillers as the "pain" is my body's natural defece and yeah, if i take painkillers, i won't know if moving my body in a certain position will affect my spine in any wya.. Basically, the pains are dere to render my body iimmobile and prevent me from moving my body in those positions..
Its really painful at times and i can't go for an poeration now as it is major and i will unable to go to sch for 3 months.. After the one day operation, i will have to rests for 3 whole months.. Not a very good bargain i think.. The doctor suggested to do it during my NS.. After the major operation, i will not be able to have good roles in the army and i will be cast into an office job in the army.. Its not my fault tht i have this disease lehx.. =(
The operation has a 0.001% chance of failing.. which means i could get paralysed for life..
Also, after my operation i will be much taller than now.. So, at least dere's sth to look up too.. sigh.. Guys, pls pray for me..

Went to NUH today morning with my mum to see my grandma, who is had operation to remove a cancer causing tumor a few days ago.. Well, when she was resting in the hospital after the operations, she was in great pain and my mum and my uncles and aunties all took turns to keep watch of her... Haha.. today i so lucky.. She has recovered when i came to see her and she was smiling.. Well, although we are not close, but, i think she saw that i cared when i visited her.. I'm goinmg to continue the visits with my mum.. Hope to see to her salvation one day.. Hmm..today she was well enought to finally put on her dentures.. U all may say "Ewwww.." But, she's my grandma ok.. so keep ur comments to urself..

The Campus Crusade For Christ Singapore Polytechnic is publishing our very own Newsletter (called Godspel..) very soon.. Well, apparently, it stopped publishing after its first issue last year.. The Crusade Seniors in the Newsletter committee decidde to revive the Newsletter this year.. Well, i joined the commitee and i am trying to help out as best as i can in the Newsletter.. I'm doing editing btw.. ^^
Ok, our Newsletter is going to bbe published quite soon.. Well, the commitee had discussed about it and we have agreed on it being distributed during the Christmas week.. The Gdospel Newsletter is going to be published every 3 months.. (Thats 4 issues ever year..) And yeah, its purpose is to inform all Crusader's on the lately Crusade events and also the Christian Lecturers and Students in Sp..
Maybe after they get to know more abt the Crusasde, they will feel compiled to donate money to our Crusade fund.. Well, its common sense mahx.. Would u dontate to an Organisation if u dun find out properly what it does?? =P
Hmm.. during our meeting on friday at the Crusade room, we did the SWOT.. Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunites, and Threats for our Crusade Newsletter, as well as how many times it will be published a year and our target audience..
Hmm.. after saying so much.. Its now time to pre-order the Newsletter!! Don't worry abt paying for the newsletter coz its FREE!! Yes!! It is!! The Crusade is a Christian Organisation and not a Coporate Organisation and so we don't collect money from such things.. But, always feel free to donate to our Crusade fund.. =]
